Typically a part that has No Add-On Features means that it is made up of only the raw material, or lamination of raw materials, defined in other parts of this information entry system.
When a part has features or processing that could be added in-Line it means that extras like; island placements of extra materials, heat sealing, glues, rivets, snaps, gels, etc... are a final feature that will have to be added before the part is finished. If there is a feature like this in your part, it should be noted here as adding it in-line, especially when quantities are large, is one key to best processing. There are some methods of manufacturing that are more conducive to adding features in-line than others.
